Vinyasa yoga & Power yoga

My teaching style is dynamic yet lighthearted and warm allowing you to feel empowered no matter your experience as i believe movement should be accessible to all. Although I had explored different disciplines including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Bikram and Kundalini, today I mainly teach Vinyasa and Power Yoga both in some clubs in London and privately.

Vinyasa Yoga is a modern style of yoga, born out of the Ashtanga Yoga tradition. The term vinyasa is a combination of two words. Nyasa has several meanings like "to place", “special order”, “attention”, “and vi, which means “specially". Vinyasa has many meanings in the Sanskrit language, however, in the context of yoga, Vinyasa can be best interpreted as “special order”. Vinyasa Yoga links one posture to the next through the breath. When the postures are practised together, they flow into each other. This is why it’s sometimes called “Flow Yoga”. Keeping the concept of moving consciously in mind, a Vinyasa Flow class focuses on relationships between poses and, progressing from simpler to more complex asanas while setting an intention and keeping the body-breath-mind connection. Power yoga asanas come in turn from Vinyasa yoga sequences with a deeper focus on building strength and flexibility in the body through high-impact yoga postures. Yogis can gain a strong sense of connection to the physical body through the postures in power yoga.

One-to-one lessons

I work closely with my 1-1 clients to offer support to work on their yoga and health goals combined to refine their lives and find optimal health and inner peace. I strongly believe in pushing my students to overcome the limits set in their minds but at the same time to always respect and listen to their bodies practicing without any forms of judgement.
